Recovery software that ends the damage argument.

Photographed before it moves, signed for at both ends, and a signed delivery note in your customer inbox before you are back at the yard.

Free plan to start. UK-built and UK-hosted. ICO registered.

Every recovery operator has had the same phone call. The car turns up, and the damage was not there when they dropped it off, or so they say. You know your driver photographed it. The photos are on his phone somewhere, or they were, and the paperwork is in the cab under a coffee cup. Autera makes that call a thirty second conversation instead of a claim: the photographs are on the job, timed; the person who released the vehicle signed for it; the person who received it signed for it; and the customer already has the delivery note that says so.

Four things, every job, automatically

This is the chain a claim breaks on. Miss any one of them and you are arguing from memory.

01

Photographed before it moves

Four corners, both sides, roof, interior, and a close-up of every dent and scuff that was already there. Timed, and filed against that job, not a camera roll.

02

Released by, signed

The person handing the vehicle over signs on the phone, types their name, and it is stamped with the time and where they stood.

03

Received by, signed

Same again at the far end. Whoever takes the vehicle signs for it, so nobody can say it never turned up.

04

Delivery note sent

The customer gets a signed PDF the moment the job is marked delivered. You do not have to remember to send it.

Built for how recovery actually runs

The photo cannot be skipped

Mark a check as photo-required and the app will not let a driver tick it off without one. Not a reminder, not a nag, an actual refusal. On every paid plan, including the £29 one.

Signed at both ends, not just one

Released by at the pickup, Received by at the drop-off, each with the signer name typed at the time, the timestamp, and the GPS position. Most systems give you one signature. A recovery has two handovers.

Works with no signal

Yards, basements, rural pickups. Photos are stored on the phone and upload when you are back in range. Nothing is lost, and the driver is never sent back to a vehicle to re-shoot a photo they already took.

Collect from and deliver to, on everything

Both ends of the run, plus the customer own reference, printed on the job card the driver carries, the delivery note the customer receives and the invoice that gets paid.

Navigation in the app your drivers use

Tap the address and it opens in Waze, Google Maps or Apple Maps, whichever your driver actually uses. Chosen once, not fought with at every job.

Invoice the account, not the person

Trade accounts can have several contacts. The delivery note goes to whoever booked the move and the invoice goes to accounts, automatically, without anyone being copied in by hand.

One job, start to finish

1

Job comes in, you raise it

Vehicle, collect-from, deliver-to, and their reference. Assign it to a driver. It appears on their phone.

2

Driver arrives and photographs it

They tap the address for directions. On arrival, the damage checks are on the screen with the photos attached to each one.

3

Released by, signed on the phone

Whoever is handing it over signs and types their name. Time and location recorded with it.

4

Delivered, received by, signed

Second signature at the far end. The customer gets the signed delivery note by email, and the job is ready to invoice.

What it costs, straight

Priced per driver, not per login. Your office staff are free and unlimited on every paid plan.

The questions operators actually ask

The photographs your driver took before the vehicle came onto the truck, each one timed and filed against that job, plus the signature of the person who released the vehicle, with their name and the time they signed. If your driver photographed a kerbed alloy at the compound at 07:12 and the depot manager signed for it at 07:14, the conversation is over. That is the whole reason this exists.

Yes, and this is the part most software gets wrong. Photos are saved to the phone straight away and upload themselves when signal comes back. Nothing is lost if the driver is in an underground car park, a rural lay-by or a compound with no bars. The step shows as saved and uploading, and ticks itself off once it lands. It also survives the app being force-closed.

Two people sign, and neither is your driver. At the pickup, whoever releases the vehicle signs. At the drop-off, whoever receives it signs. Your driver is already identified as the logged-in user, and every signature carries their name, the time and the GPS position. If nobody is there to sign at collection, the driver skips it and the note says so plainly rather than pretending.

It sends itself. When the job is marked delivered, the customer gets an email saying the vehicle was delivered to the address, with a signed delivery note attached as a PDF. It shows the vehicle, where it was collected from and delivered to, your reference and theirs, both signatures with names and times, and how many photographs are on file. You do not have to remember to send anything.

Yes. Every job takes their reference alongside yours, and it prints on the job card, the delivery note and the invoice. Invoices to a trade account can also route to more than one contact, so the delivery note goes to the person who booked it and the invoice goes to accounts, without you copying anyone in by hand.

For a one or two truck operator, yes, and nothing is held back. Starter includes the photo-required checks the driver cannot skip, both signatures, the automatic delivery note and their reference on the invoice. What it caps is size, not capability: three drivers and 100 jobs a month. Past roughly five jobs a day you move to Workshop at £79 for unlimited jobs and six drivers. You go up for volume, not because we put the useful part behind a higher tier. There is a 14 day trial with no card, so you can find out on your own jobs rather than take our word for it.

We move your jobs, customers and vehicles across for you, free, and normally within 24 hours of starting. Send a CSV export from whatever you use now. If all you have is a spreadsheet and a WhatsApp group, that is fine too, we have started from worse.

Try it on your next recovery

Photograph one job properly, get it signed at both ends, and see what lands in the customer inbox. Fourteen days, no card.
